CNC Thermal Cutting Specialist

About the role

The CNC Thermal Cutting Specialist is responsible for operating CNC thermal cutting machines to produce precise metal parts according to engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC thermal cutting machines to cut metal sheets and plates to specified dimensions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate cuts.
• Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or related field.
• Proficiency in using CNC thermal cutting machines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
