Responsibilities
- Program and optimize CNC programs for routing, laser cutting, and machining equipment based on engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Operate and monitor CNC equipment, including routers, laser cutters, and machining centers, to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Perform regular inspections of machined parts to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC equipment, such as machine malfunctions, tooling problems, or programming errors.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve technical problems and minimize downtime.
- Continuously evaluate and improve machining processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Recommend and implement enhancements, such as tooling upgrades, programming modifications, or workflow optimizations.
- Maintain production logs and records of CNC programs, machine settings, and production data.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Technician, specifically in routing, laser cutting, and machining operations.
- Tech or vocational training with a CNC machining component is preferred.
- Proficiency in programming CNC equipment using industry-standard software, such as G-code, enroute, or CAM software.
- Familiarity with routing, laser cutting, and machining processes, including material selection, feeds and speeds, and toolpath optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to unexpected changes.
- Meticulous approach to work with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate and precise machining.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

We are growing and as a result are seeking a talented and skilled CNC Technician and/or CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous expertise in programming and operating CNC equipment, such as routing, laser cutting, and 3-axis or 5-axis machining equipment.
