CNC Technician
About the role

Responsibilities
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for job assignments.
- Responsible for storing tooling related to CNC processes and maintaining an inventory.
- Keeps a good inventory of spare parts required for the CNC process.
- Produces both turned and machined parts to customer specifications, requiring knowledge of tooling and cutting tools.
- Lays out and writes programs for prototypes and samples on machining and turning centers with short response times.
- Sets up all machines in the shop.
Qualifications
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
- Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to their specific position.
- Must have good machining skills.
- Must have good inspection skills.
- Must have excellent math skills.
- Minimum two years’ experience in CNC machining.
- Close tolerance expertise (.002).
- Lays out and writes programs for prototypes and samples on machining and turning centers with short response times.
- Sets up all machines in the shop.
