CNC Team Leader

McMullen Facades — Carlton-on-Trent (Newark Site A) Hours 7:30am Monday to Thursday, Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm Friday. Permanent role. Weekly pay. Pay to be discussed. State-of-the-art manufacturing facility based near Newark and conveniently located adjacent to the A1. About The Role We are looking for an experienced CNC Team Leader to join our facade and cladding manufacturing team. You will operate CNC machining centres and saws specialising in the preparation of steel profiles for the manufacture of facades and cladding. You will also safely produce quality machined profiles and components as per engineering drawings and within budget and schedule. What You Will Do Produce machined steel profiles and components accurately from engineering drawingsSet up, edit and operate CNC machinery including machining centres and sawsRead, understand, verify and adjust CNC programming to ensure conformity and qualityCarry out inspections and preventative maintenance; record machine accuracy and performance metricsComplete all quality documentation and maintain full traceabilityPlan and prioritise work to meet production schedules and deadlinesWork closely with CNC programmers and fabricators to resolve issues and improve workflowMaintain a clean, safe and organised work area; lead by example on housekeeping and standardsEncourage and support team members to follow procedures and quality requirementsUndertake any other reasonable duties as required What We Are Looking For Proven experience operating, setting and leading CNC machinery — ideally machining centres and sawsStrong ability to read engineering drawings and verify CNC programsKnowledge of steel fabrication and architectural cladding or similar manufacturing environments is advantageousGood understanding of quality standards, inspection methods and machine maintenanceNatural team leader — able to guide, support and motivate colleaguesReliable, safety-conscious and proud of producing high-quality workGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across the production team What We Offer Permanent position with a growing, established groupCompetitive rate of payFull PPE and training providedOn-site parking, located just off the A1 at Carlton-on-Trent
