CNC Swiss Machinist - 2nd & 3rd Shift

About the role

EMC Precision is seeking an experienced Swiss Style Lathe Operator to manufacture precision components using Citizen L20 and M32 machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple Swiss machines simultaneously.
• Use various types of measuring instruments.
• Replace tooling and adjust tools to meet blueprint specifications.
• Perform first piece inspection when setup is completed.
• Recommend process improvements with supervisor or programming personnel to resolve problems.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Fluent in Shop Math.
• Minimum of one year of shop experience.
• Solid work history.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see (general and close up), hear, speak, use motor coordination (dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot), and use hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers in any direction.
• Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, and climb flights of stairs.
