About the role
The CNC Set-Up Technician is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precise metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture metal parts.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality control.
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in CNC machining or related field.
- Proficiency in using CNC machines and associated software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor.

Pay
