CNC Set-Up

About the role

MTE Hydraulics Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Set-Up Operator to join our team in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience setting up and operating CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce hydraulic components according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in regular training sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machines and hydraulics systems preferred.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and ISO standards.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
