Responsibilities
- Program and troubleshoot FANUC CNC controls, PLCs, PMCs, HMIs, and motion control systems.
- Configure CNC controls, servo drives, motors, and machine parameters.
- Test, commission, and validate control software on new and retrofit equipment.
- Develop HMI interfaces and support complete machine integration.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for manufacturing and customer issues.
- Create and maintain control system documentation, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Ensure controls meet quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least 2 years of CNC controls programming experience.
- Strong experience with FANUC CNC controls, including PMC ladder logic, macro programming, G-code optimization, and servo tuning.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Technical writing experience is a plus.
