CNC Programmer, MFG - 11th Ave, Jasper, IN

Responsibilities

• Create programs for CNC equipment.
• Investigate and recommend changes to shop floor production processes involving CNC equipment.
• Follow engineering specifications.
• Coach machine operators in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Serve as a liaison with maintenance, engineering, support staff, and operators to ensure equipment is best utilized.
• Document necessary information.
• Keep work space and equipment clean and well organized.
• Recommend, approve, and make changes to improve efficiencies and equipment utilization.
• Identify training opportunities within the team and set actions for improvement.
• Use required CAD systems (AutoCAD, AlphaCAM, Solid Edge).
• Use manual wood working machinery (table/band saw, router, drills, sanders, etc).

Requirements

• Two years CAD/CAM experience preferred.
• One year 3D modeling experience preferred.
