What You'll Do
- Program and set up CNC mills and/or lathes for complex parts using G-code/M-code and modern CAD/CAM.
- Interpret blueprints, models, and sketches to determine machining sequence, tooling, and fixturing.
- Perform setups, offsets, test runs, and inspections to hold tight tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality, recommend process/tooling improvements, and document setups and standards.
- Help maintain a clean, safe work area and mentor less-experienced machinists and operators.
What You Bring
- Proven CNC Programmer/Machinist experience in production or job-shop environments.
- Strong blueprint/CAD/GD&T reading skills and hands-on multi-axis setup/operation.
- Proficiency with at least one CAD/CAM platform and common controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens).
- Solid shop math, troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and team-oriented communication.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training, apprenticeship, or certifications are a plus.
