Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling machine, lathe and router using MasterCam
  • Build Process sheets for material flow
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools using Mastercam
  • Set up and adjust production machinery
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Project Execution
  • Able to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met
  • Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
  • Adequate to adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and or travel as required in varying timelines
  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
  • Adequate to adhere to the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
  • Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business

Requirements

  • Candidate is the owner of a Certificate of Qualification for a General Machinist or Tool and Die Maker or has demonstrated equivalent experience in a automation/manufacturing environment
  • SolidWorks Certificate
  • MasterCam Certificate
  • Experience in an automation environment will be considered an asset

Qualifications

  • 5+ years or more experience as a programmer

Skills

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Proficient in programming CNC machines using Mastercam
  • Ability to set up and adjust production machinery
  • Ability to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Strong project execution ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or travel as required in varying timelines
