Cnc Programmer
Permanent, fully onsite position in Janesville, WI.
About the role
Program, set up, operate, and maintain numerous CNC machines. Utilize MasterCAM software for programming CNC mills, lathes, and multi-task equipment. Work in a low-volume, high-mix machining environment with custom projects, including in-house tooling and automated equipment manufacturing. Programming time is typically around three hours daily. The team consists of one other CNC Programmer and six machinists.
Responsibilities
- Determine machining sequence and methodology
- Identify and procure appropriate cutting tools for CNC machining functions
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and prove-out programming, and make adjustments
- Establish inspections and monitor key dimensions through CNC controls and end-item measurements using standard measuring equipment and gaging
- Perform Machinist/Toolmaker duties and responsibilities
- Program CNC mills, lathes, and multi-task equipment using MasterCAM software
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Requirements
- Programming experience for Mazaks (specifically Integrex i100s)
- MasterCAM programming experience for additional equipment
- 4+1 or 5-axis programming experience
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Inspections and blueprint reading
- Understanding of G & M codes

Pay
The pay range for this position is $66,560.00 – $93,600.00 per year. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
