Responsibilities
- CNC Programming of mills, lathes, mill-turns, and grinders.
- Programming for Siemens, Fanuc and Heidenhain.
- Resolve process and program issues.
- Collaborate with team to provide effective cutter path support.
- Determine tooling and work-holding requirements for CNC operations.
- Work with highly skilled team to develop new processes.
Requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Understand complex GD&T.
- Experience using the Cartesian coordinate system.
- Skills in SolidWorks 3D modeling software.
- Manual (long-hand) programming in G-code.
- MasterCam CAD/CAM software.
- Vericut simulation software.
- Contributor to a team environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Mathematical thinking and processing.
- Strong geometry foundation.
- Strong trigonometry foundation.
- Able to maintain systems of organization.
- Adequate attention to detail.
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Push material carts.
Work Environment/Conditions
- Monday to Friday, day schedule, 8 or more hours per day.
- Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary for emergency outages.
- On-call for remote or on-site after-hours work.
- Pristine, climate-controlled facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
- Noise level in work environment is typically low to moderate.
