CNC Process Engineer | 1st Shift Winsted, CT

Join a growing aerospace manufacturer investing heavily in its Winsted operation with new CNC equipment, expanded production capacity, and long-term aerospace contracts. This role offers the chance to develop manufacturing processes, support new equipment launches, and drive continuous improvement in a high-precision machining environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes, routings, tooling, and fixturing
• Support CNC machining operations and production teams
• Troubleshoot machining, quality, and process issues
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Manufacturing or Process Engineering experience
• CNC machining and precision manufacturing experience
• Strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills
• Experience with process development and troubleshooting
• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
• Mastercam, Siemens NX, and fixture design experience a plus
