CNC Operator Mill/Turn, 2nd Shift

About the Role

As a CNC Operator B at Branch Medical Group (a subsidiary of Globus Medical Inc.), you will operate CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce precision parts that meet the dimensional specifications of mechanical engineering drawings. This role involves basic machine changeovers, quality control documentation, and adherence to good manufacturing practices, inspection techniques, SOPs, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Measure, inspect, load, and unload parts from CNC machines.
• Implement dimensional adjustments (offsets) as needed and instructed.
• Accurately complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
• Inspect products in accordance with verbal and/or written instructions, including part drawings, travelers, work instructions, and process specifications.
• Follow good manufacturing practices and inspection techniques daily, adhering to all SOPs and safety regulations.
• Comply with company policies, including the Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, and MedTech Code.
• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations through training and ongoing knowledge maintenance.
• Represent the company professionally, upholding ethical business practices in all interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform visual inspections using a microscope on small parts; strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate math skills, including geometric and trigonometric formulas (a plus).
• Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision; well-organized and able to multi-task.
• Team player open to new ideas, self-motivated, and willing to continually increase personal knowledge and value.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands

• Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
