About the role

Kennametal Inc. is an industrial technology leader offering materials science, tooling, and wear-resistant solutions to customers in aerospace and defense, earthworks, energy, general engineering, and transportation sectors. The company seeks a CNC Operator I to join their team in Bedford, PA.

Responsibilities

• Operate complex production equipment and tools in the manufacture and packaging of various products.
• Follow blueprints, guidelines, diagrams, and schematics to ensure product and customer specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Execute equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustained production.
• Modify existing equipment and assist in designing new equipment for continuous manufacturing process improvement, ensuring quality control and in-process production testing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
