About the Role

This is where my hands make life-sustaining products! As a CNC Operator III, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring a variety of manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools, including vertical machining centers and turning centers, to manufacture high-quality components that meet engineering and customer specifications.

Your Team

You will be part of a skilled Manufacturing Operations team dedicated to producing precision components that support critical products and customers worldwide. The team works collaboratively to maintain production schedules, drive quality improvements, and ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Work from drawings and/or written or oral instructions.
  • Read and interpret complicated drawings to determine correct specifications.
  • Preset tools using tool measuring machine.
  • Monitor operations and take corrective action as required.
  • Operate any and all machining equipment in the department.
  • Effectively use Drop, Height and Thread Gauges, Micrometers and Vernier Calipers.
  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual circumstances to group leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain established quality standards and follow quality procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports as needed.
  • Ensure that work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition; that prescribed safety measures are followed, and that established company policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. daily, assistance required when lifting above 50 lbs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
  • Work overtime as needed or as required with appropriate notice and in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years' experience in CNC Machining.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand measurement tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Follow all safety guidelines.
  • Ability to manage and organize complex technical problems.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, comparator, micrometers, and fixed gauges.
  • Knowledge of GMP/manufacturing environment and regulatory compliance for medical devices.

Pay

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $25.00 - $31.00. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
