About the Role

The CNC Associates support our CNC production department by ensuring machines run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. They focus on setup, operation, quality control, and production support.

Responsibilities

  • Setup, edit, and maintain CNC tool and cutter grinding machines
  • Operate equipment within established cycle times and performance expectations
  • Perform first piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality
  • Use precision measurement and inspection equipment
  • Follow engineering documentation
  • Support teammates by assisting with equipment uptime and efficient production flow
  • Work safely around moving equipment and machine components while using required PPE (protective eyewear and safety footwear)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, with ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • 6+ months related experience in a CNC / tooling / manufacturing setting
  • Working knowledge of decimal and metric measurements, including conversions
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and related equations
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
  • Solid communication skills and a reliable, team-first attitude
  • Comfort working independently under direct supervision

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology
  • 3 to 5 years CNC tool and cutter grinding experience

Skills

High school diploma or GED, CNC experience, strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and reliability are essential.

Benefits

Compensation starts at $18.49 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Overtime may be required or available based on business needs.
