As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.
Job Details
- Position Type: Hourly, Full Time
- Work Hours: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00/hour, depending on experience plus, $2.00/hour shift premium
- Work Location: MC (905 S Jackson St, Mount Carroll, IL 61053)
- Reports To: Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications
- Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments
- Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards
- Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps
- History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
