About the role
Will operate and set up all CNC Mills as directed by the department supervisor. 1st and 2nd shift available.
Essential Job Functions
- Must be able to operate and set up all CNC Mills Okuma and Haas machines unsupervised.
- Must be able to assist operation of CNC Swiss Citizen and Tsugami machines.
- Must be able to adjust set up or tooling as required.
- Perform setups without supervision.
- Must be able to read, interpret and follow all blueprints and instructions and be able to determine and select appropriate gauging.
- Is responsible for the quality of all parts produced leaving assigned equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in machine operation
- Computer literacy
- Trainability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility
- Ability to work with others
- Understanding of the Lean Enterprise Tool
