Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts, including gears, according to engineering specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet aerospace industry standards and AS9100 requirements.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to optimize production efficiency and part quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC milling machines, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of CNC milling techniques and gear manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100 quality management standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality precision parts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with aerospace component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
