CNC Mill Technician

About the role

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a CNC Mill Technician to join our growing team. This position is located on-site in Sedro Woolley, WA.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail and quality is required
  Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders
  Receives and carries out directions from designated Supervisors and Production Leads
  Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices
  Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
  Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction
  Performs prescribed maintenance on machines and facilities as required
  Works in other Cells to support Production as required, i.e.; Mold Fab or Assembly Cells
  Performs on the job training, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required
  Performs other duties as assigned
  Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred
• 6 months or more of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
