CNC Mill Setup/Operator – Haas Vertical Mill | 3-Day Weekends

About the role

Tesker Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Mill Setup/Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position involves setting up and operating a Haas vertical machining center to produce precision-machined components used in our thread rolling machines and tooling. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC milling operations, including machine setups, tooling changes, and making adjustments to maintain part quality. Most machining programs are already established, so extensive CNC programming experience is not required. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently. This position offers a consistent schedule with three-day weekends and opportunities for continued growth within our machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC vertical milling machines
• Install and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding
• Load and run existing CNC programs, making tooling offsets and adjustments as needed
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications
• Inspect machined components using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machining operations to maintain consistent quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience with CNC mill setups, tooling changes, and offsets
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
• Familiarity with Haas CNC controls is a plus, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
• CNC programming experience is not required

Schedule

Second Shift – 3-Day Weekends

• Monday–Wednesday: 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM
• Thursday: 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday–Sunday: Off

Compensation

• $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
• Annual productivity bonus, generally ranging from $3,000–$5,000
