Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis as applicable)
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Install tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
- Load materials and ensure proper alignment and setup
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to ensure tolerances are met
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
- Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering or programming teams
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and maintain equipment in good working order

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred
- 2+ years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of milling operations, tooling, feeds and speeds, and materials
- Experience with CNC controls
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times on the shop floor
