CNC Mill Operator Day or Night Shift

About the role

This position offers a pathway for career growth, as A&R will provide training to enable the candidate to move into CNC Machinist and Setup Machinist positions. The role involves working with ITAR-controlled parts, requiring either U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic program edits and set tools
• Use basic measuring tools including dial calipers, ID/OD micrometers, bore gages, and thread gages
• Understand SPC requirements and fill out SPC charts
• Perform 1st article measurements as directed by lead person or Production Manager
• Understand and fill out 1st article paperwork
• Read and interpret blueprints, industry specifications, and work order instructions
• Work overtime and Saturdays as needed

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years' experience as a CNC Mill operator
• Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls preferred
• Experience with 4-axis Horizontal Machine Centers and 4-axis vertical mills desired
• 5-axis experience is a plus
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Impeccable attendance record required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder due to ITAR requirements

Pay

$18-$22/hr, competitive and based on demonstrated level of experience.
