Responsibilities
- Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.
- Execute daily priorities and duties as defined by the supervisor or area lead.
- Set up, operate, and edit CNC machines as needed to produce products that meet required specifications.
- Complete required documentation with accurate information.
- Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities.
- Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Apply basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Apply concepts of basic math and basic PC skills.
- Read and comprehend instructions, work orders, and drawings.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Meet consistent attendance requirements.
- Safely operate the use of an overhead crane.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to HMH Values, Compliance, Integrity, and HSSE.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years as a CNC mill machinist.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years as a CNC Deckel Maho 5-axis mill machinist.
- Advanced knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to set up and run machines with little to no supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and adherence to processes and policies.
- Experience with BOP products.
Additional Information
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status. No relocation assistance is provided.
Schedule
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday (with overtime as required). Some weekends and holidays from 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
