CNC Mill Cell Manager

About the role

The Cell Manager oversees daily production processes involving machining composite, metal, ceramic, and hybrid parts and tooling. This role involves managing up to 25 personnel across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient workflows, and leading a team to meet project goals.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and scheduling to maximize productivity
• Directing and leading a team of employees
• Interfacing with Project Teams to support scheduling and priorities
• Estimating production times and staffing requirements
• Analyzing and planning workforce utilization and workflow
• Maintaining adequate resources for assigned tasks
• Identifying and implementing improvements in team capabilities
• Maintaining tool inventory and ensuring accountability
• Ensuring work orders and materials are available before projects start
• Preparing and providing reports for operations management
• Auditing and reviewing work packets with technicians
• Performing on-the-job training and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years specialized training or equivalent on-the-job training
• 1-3 years related job experience
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Technical or college degree preferred
• Basic machining experience including cutter identification, feeds and speeds, and maintenance

Wage Information

The wage range for this role is between $35 - $50 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access is also available.

Special Access Program or Other Government Access Requirements

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed.
