CNC Manufacturing Technician

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and be able to operate various CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and adjust CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform quality checks on manufactured parts to ensure conformance to standards.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in CNC manufacturing or related field.
• Proficiency in using CNC machines such as CNC lathes, mills, and routers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within California as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, etc.)
• Knowledge of metrology tools and techniques
• Experience with CAD/CAM software

Pay

$23.40 - $31.66 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
