CNC Maintenance Technician

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain CNC machines according to engineering drawings and understand dimensions as they pertain to repeatability, equipment capabilities, tooling, and scaled-up production.
  • Dialogue with external vendors, as needed, to ensure that all necessary components and equipment are always available to keep production running.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and collaborate with other departments, as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and automated saws.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and other staff as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience working with CNC machines and/or automated saws.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software systems.
