About the role

Every machine tells a story. The question is whether you can read it. Experienced maintenance technicians recognize the signs before downtime happens. They don't just fix broken machines. They improve reliability, eliminate repeat failures, and keep production moving. If that's how you approach your work, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify permanent corrective actions
  • Repair and rebuild machine components including spindles, ballscrews, guide rails, pumps, valves, and drive systems
  • Operate manual machine tools to fabricate and modify replacement parts
  • Read blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Perform precision alignments and machine calibration using precision measuring equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLCs and CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, or similar platforms
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Work closely with operators to improve machine performance and prevent recurring failures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and a safe work environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience operating manual machining equipment
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred
  • PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Technical degree or industrial maintenance certification is helpful, but hands-on experience matters most

Why join us

We aren't looking for someone to simply respond when a machine goes down. We're investing in someone who wants to improve the entire operation. You'll work on challenging equipment, be trusted to solve problems, and have the opportunity to make a visible impact every day. Your ideas won't disappear into a suggestion box. If they improve reliability, we'll put them to work.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Stable, full-time employment
  • Opportunities to grow your technical skills
  • A culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
