Responsibilities
- Perform the duties associated with the maintenance of facilities and equipment that support the production of Caterpillar machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Coordinate Log Out/Tag Out, Aerial/Boom Lift, Safe job procedure adherence as well as knowledge in the preventative maintenance program and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Work on skilled & advanced electronic, pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and be able to interpret schematics.
- Recommend and implement corrective action.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on CNC machines such as Fanuc, Siemens, PAMA, and other CNC controls/equipment.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, lead repairs on breakdowns, and RCCA actions for CNC Machines.
- Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility.
- Familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.
- Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), System Control Software (SCS), scanners, etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, and post-offer medical questionnaire.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of CNC machines and related controls.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Pay
Pay Range: $33.00 - $45.00
Schedule
Opening on 3rd shift, 11pm-7am. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. 3rd shift: Monday – Saturday, 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
