Responsibilities

  • Perform the duties associated with the maintenance of facilities and equipment that support the production of Caterpillar machines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Coordinate Log Out/Tag Out, Aerial/Boom Lift, Safe job procedure adherence as well as knowledge in the preventative maintenance program and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
  • Work on skilled & advanced electronic, pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and be able to interpret schematics.
  • Recommend and implement corrective action.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and leading repairs on CNC machines such as Fanuc, Siemens, PAMA, and other CNC controls/equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, lead repairs on breakdowns, and RCCA actions for CNC Machines.
  • Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility.
  • Familiar with PM procedures, including performing PMs, logging completion, etc.
  • Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), System Control Software (SCS), scanners, etc.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check, drug screening, and post-offer medical questionnaire.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines and related controls.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Pay

Pay Range: $33.00 - $45.00

Schedule

Opening on 3rd shift, 11pm-7am. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. 3rd shift: Monday – Saturday, 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
