CNC Machinist - Weekend Shift

McWilliams Forge began as a family owned company in the 1880's since then it was bought by PCC in 2008. Since being bought by PCC, McWilliams has been steadily growing. Currently, McWilliams supports the aerospace industry by supporting local and regional aircrafts. Job Description We are seeking a machinist familiar with turning machines. Sets up and operates a variety of machines in machine shop, including but not limited to; milling, turning, drilling, grinding etc. Able to work to close tolerances working from drawings with little or no guidance. Shift Hours: Saturday and Sunday 5am-5pm Primary Duties & Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines)Load programs, install tooling, and set work offsetsRead and interpret blueprints and work instructionsMonitor machine operations and make necessary adjustmentsInspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshootingMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsFollow all safety, quality, and company proceduresCollaborate with engineers, programmers, and supervisors to improve processes Experience & Education Previous manufacturing experience (3+ years)Willingness to learnCNC programming experience (G-code, Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)Experience with tight tolerances and high-precision partsKnowledge of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materialsLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
