CNC Machinist - Weekend ShiftWyoming, MI | $24.00-$32.00 per hour + shift differential Schedule: Friday-Sunday | 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hoursAbout the OpportunityWe’re partnering with a growing precision manufacturing company in Wyoming, MI that produces high-quality parts.They are looking for a CNC Machinist to join their weekend shift. This is a strong opportunity for someone with CNC operation experience who wants a steady schedule, long-term stability, and the ability to work 3 days per week while being paid for a full 40-hour week.This role is a great fit for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with tight tolerances, and interested in building a career in precision machining.What You’ll Be DoingOperate CNC Swiss-style and Mill/Turn lathes to produce precision parts.Run and monitor machines during production to ensure parts meet quality standards.Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, schematics, and GD&T requirements.Check parts for accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout the shift.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow production procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.Identify machine or quality issues and escalate them to setup technicians or supervisors.Communicate clearly with team members and support smooth shift handoffs.What They’re Looking For2+ years experience with CNC lathes, Swiss-style machines, or Mill/Turn machines preferred.Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and quality requirements.Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during a full shift.Dependable work ethic and strong attendance.Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.Nice to HaveExperience operating Swiss-style lathes or multi-axis machines.Experience in aerospace, medical, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.Why You’ll Like This RoleWork 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.Weekend schedule with 4 days off during the week.Competitive hourly pay plus shift differential.Opportunity to work with Swiss-style and Mill/Turn CNC equipment.Stable, growing manufacturing environment.Strong fit for someone who wants long-term career growth in precision machining.Benefits401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid time offProfessional development assistance MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
