CNC Machinist/Operator

About the role

New Wire Marine is searching for a CNC Machinist/Operator to join their inventive and innovative team in Charleston, SC. They build and sell aftermarket boat dash and switch panels worldwide, known for their custom-made products.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with the utmost efficacy and safety
• Deliver excellent attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
• Understand and read work orders, drawings, and follow detailed instructions
• Create toolpaths using G-code generating software
• Use basic hand tools and have mechanical aptitude
• Have knowledge of basic math skills, including algebra and geometry
• Be capable of understanding and reading calipers
• Have experience in the marine and boating industry (a plus)
