CNC Machinist - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machining equipment
• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications
• Measuring and verifying part dimensions using precision tools
• Inspecting finished products for quality compliance
• Performing routine machine maintenance
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Supporting inventory and production needs as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 4+ years of CNC machining experience required
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and focus; ability to learn new technology and processes; effective time management and prioritization skills; commitment to continuous improvement and the DeGeest Stronger Standard; strong communication skills (read, write, and speak English); ability to work in changing priorities and fast-paced environments; understanding of safety procedures and requirements; ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment
