CNC Machinist (NAMPA, ID)

Our client located in Nampa, ID is seeking experienced CNC Lathe/Mill Machinists to join their team.

About the role

Local Nampa company is seeking a skilled CNC/Manual Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet quality and production standards. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, performing machine setups, inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments, and troubleshooting machining issues. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC equipment, strong attention to detail, knowledge of machining processes, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Select appropriate tools and materials
• Perform machine setups
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot machining issues

Requirements

• 3+ years experience programming in a shop environment
• 3+ years experience setting up CNC Lathes/Mills
• Experience with fixture and holding parts
• Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum parts
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in reading and using various measurement equipment and blueprints
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and write G-Code programs
• Manual machining experience is a plus

Monday–Friday (some Saturdays as needed for overtime)
