CNC Machinist - Mill Turn - 2nd SHIFT
Manufacture parts for Ripley Tools products using CNC Milling and Mill Turn Machines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up manual knee mills and CNC milling machines
- Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and optical comparators
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Perform secondary operations as required
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Work with engineering to support product development
- Incorporate lean practices into daily activities
- Participate on continuous improvement teams
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Willing to work overtime
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year of experience with CNC Milling and Mill Turn Machines
- Ability to read, write English, and perform basic math
- Physically able to lift 35 lbs
