CNC Machinist - Mastercam

First shift, full-time position in a clean, organized shop with modern equipment. Overtime available.

About the role

We're looking for a skilled CNC machinist to join a growing team where craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are valued. This is a hands-on position working on precision milling projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate JET CNC milling machines equipped with ACU-RITE MILLPWR CNC controls
• Program and modify toolpaths using Mastercam
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and setup processes
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and height gages
• Document inspection results in ProShop ERP
• Help maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience
• Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
• Experience programming with Mastercam
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Knowledge of tooling, materials, and machining strategies
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards
