CNC Machinist / Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and conventional machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and quality checks
• Verify dimensions and tolerances of finished parts
• Load/unload materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists as needed.
• Maintain production and time-tracking records
• Support a safe and efficient manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Previous CNC Machining or Machinist experience
• Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring tools
• Experience with machine setups and production machining
• Manufacturing experience required
• Must meet ITAR requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CNC Machining or Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency operating CNC Mills, Lathes, and/or conventional machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Experience with machine setup, tooling, offsets, and production machining
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards
• Experience performing inspections and verifying finished products to specifications
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
• Forklift, crane, and hoist experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment
• Must meet ITAR requirements
• Must successfully pass a background check, physical, drug, and alcohol screening
