Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Swiss Turning machines using blueprints, operation sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform complex machine set-ups, adjustments, and edits to CNC programs.
- Ensure all parts meet quality standards through visual inspections and dimensional verification.
- Perform routine maintenance, tooling replacement, and keep work area organized.
- Assist and train other operators, troubleshoot machining issues, and communicate with team members.
- Document work, manage material staging, and report shortages or problems.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of setup experience, with familiarity in aerospace or close tolerance parts preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi CNC controls, reading blueprints, and using gauges.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret CNC programs, operation sheets, and specifications.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Compensation
Hourly wage between $25 and $35.
