Position: CNC Machinist Level I, II or III

Snowline Engineering is a precision machining facility offering diverse services to customers in aerospace, robotics, medical, and train industries. Located in Cameron Park, CA, we pride ourselves on our 80,000 square foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation
• Tend one or more CNC machine tools (mills and/or lathes)
• Load parts into CNC machining centers or manual machines as required
• Build fixtures as required to hold workpiece
• Blueprints & Tooling
• Read blueprints and job traveler specifications
• Select correct tooling, materials, and processes based on specifications
• Programming
• Interpret and edit CNC programs using Fanuc, Fadal, and Yasnac controls
• Modify programs as required to meet product conformity
• Retrieve and store programs in the database
• Inspection & Quality
• Inspect and measure workpieces using standard measuring tools
• Verify conformance to specifications during the run
• Maintain statistical reporting
• Maintenance & Tooling
• Replace cutting tools as required
• Complete routine machine maintenance
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs
• Finishing
• Debur and clean workpieces as required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5–10+ years' experience for Level II or III
• Good math skills
• Basic blueprint skills (Level II or III)
• Preferred knowledge of machining stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, Inconel, and assorted plastics (Level III)

Pay & Benefits

• $18.00 – $50.00 per hour, depending on experience
