CNC Machinist l

About the role

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for loading/unloading CNC Lathe. Set up of machine including true up of chuck jaws, program required offsets to maintain blueprint specifications, complete appropriate dimensional documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual machinery for use in metal working applications.
• Experience with G-code and Mazatrol is a plus but not required.
• Complete SOP travelers and document daily activities, advise supervisor of product non-conformance.
• Interpret assembly and blueprints drawings.
• Follow proper safety precautions.
• Must be courteous and work well with others.
• Able to properly rig heavy machinery and equipment for use with overhead crane.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CNC Machining experience
• Converting metric and standard measurements
• Basic Trigonometry functions
• Ability to use and read precise measuring tools
• Learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas

Qualifications

• HR diploma or equivalent
