CNC Machinist II (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)
Principal Accountabilities
- Log time and job data using ERP software
- Interpret work orders, flow sheets, and part drawings to understand job requirements
- Inspect blueprint dimensions using manual gauges
- Load and verify tools and fixtures; fabricate basic fixtures when needed
- Pull and verify correct materials from staging area per WOPAC
- Set up and operate 3-axis mills and basic 2-axis lathe work
- Upload/download CNC programs from programmer to machine
- Align vices and locate fixture centers accurately
- Submit first article and final inspections to Quality Assurance
- Run production parts and conduct in-process inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles
- Communicate with Supervisor to ensure successful job completion
- Take on additional duties as assigned
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency with ERP software
- Minimum 5 years of experience in: CNC machining
- Blueprint reading
- Manual inspection gauges
- Editing and writing CNC programs
- Strong basic math skills; trigonometry knowledge preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Pay
The salary range for this position is $24-$30. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
