About the role

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our growing aerospace and additive manufacturing team. The CNC Machinist will set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC equipment while producing high-quality precision parts to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, operate, and perform daily maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Machine and inspect parts to precise specifications.
  • Operate CNC/manual mills and lathes.
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and inspection equipment.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Inspect dimensions and geometries to tolerances as tight as 0.0002".
  • Perform deburring, finishing, and quality inspections.
  • Troubleshoot machining and process issues.
  • Develop effective machining methods and improve processes.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and proper PPE use.
  • Meet production, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to less-experienced machinists.

Requirements

  • Proficient with CNC and manual mills and lathes.
  • CNC programming and knowledge of CNC control functions.
  • Strong understanding of tooling and fixture setup.
  • Ability to use precision inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with deburring and precision finishing.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a related two-year vocational/technical program plus 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and requires U.S. citizenship.
