CNC Machinist

Essential Function

Join our Team as a CNC Machinist 4!

Where you will be working on complex machining operations and drive process improvements across multiple work centers. You’ll play a key role in machine installations, pilot runs, and cross-functional initiatives, while serving as a technical resource for the team and supporting training efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• 5+ years of CNC Machining experience on 3 to 5 axis CNC machining
• Must have machine control experience
• Understanding of input tool geometry
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing
• Capable of applying and teaching standard practices and techniques within their work
• Basic understanding of G&M code
• Attention to detail is required
• Must be quality and safety minded
• Possess basic proficiency in operating computers, including navigating software and web-based platforms
• Have strong shop math skills, including geometry and fractions, and use calculator functions to verify measurements and calculations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate from Technical School or Trade School
• Knowledge of GD&K
• Knowledge of G&M code
• Experience machining Si, glass or other brittle material

• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Frequent exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
• Moderate noise level in the environment
