About the role
The Senior CNC Machinist is responsible for designing, programming, and operating CNC machines to manufacture metal bellows components. This position requires a deep understanding of metalworking processes and proficiency in CNC machine operation.
Responsibilities
- Design and program CNC machining operations to produce high-quality metal bellows components.
- Operate CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in metal working and CNC machining.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in using CNC machines such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with metal bellows manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of metalworking materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
