CNC Machinist

About the role

The Senior CNC Machinist is responsible for designing, programming, and operating CNC machines to manufacture metal bellows components. This position requires a deep understanding of metalworking processes and proficiency in CNC machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Design and program CNC machining operations to produce high-quality metal bellows components.
• Operate CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in metal working and CNC machining.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in using CNC machines such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with metal bellows manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of metalworking materials and their properties.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
