Responsibilities

  • Set up the machine to produce components (tooling and work holding).
  • Edit programs as necessary to work with the set up and tooling selection.
  • Understand PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) to produce a smooth defect-free surface.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Use all measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Apply G-code and M-code fundamentals.
  • Read and troubleshoot existing CNC programs.

Requirements

  • CNC machine set-up (tooling and work holding).
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Tooling offsets and some program editing.
  • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, height stands, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Haas mill and Okuma mill turn experience a plus.
  • Mastercam experience a plus.

Pay

$22.00–$26.00 per hour.
