Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Software and machinery used
- Must be able to program with G & M codes.
- Knowledge of how to operate grinders, lathes, and milling machines.
- Knowledge and understanding of Lathe and Mill Equipment and Tooling.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyzing drawings and specifications to gain a thorough understanding of the requirements.
- Developing a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
- Scheduling and carrying out each step of the manufacturing process on equipment.
- Maintaining equipment located throughout the machine shop.
- Maintaining quality control by inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects.
- Making adjustments to equipment as needed during the production process.
- Performing various secondary operations such as light assembly, part trimming, and packaging.
Requirements
- Ability to move 50 to 70 pounds and remain stationary throughout a shift.
- Ability to machine the chuck jaws.
- Ability to zero the Y axis.
Tools & Equipment
- Haas ST 20 CNC Lathe.
- Measurement tools.
- Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Oracle NetSuite System.
Work Location
Position works out of headquarters located in Waukegan, IL USA.
Pay
This position pays a minimum of $25. A qualified candidate will make more than this.
