My client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of solenoid valves and flow control components. As they continue to grow, they are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team.

Responsibilities

• Make complicated set-ups and operate available machine tools
• Determine operational sequences, proper jigs, fixtures and design of tools to be used
• Skillfully use all machinist's hand tools and measuring instruments
• Machine most materials
• Use advanced shop math, including trigonometry
• Move parts to and from the work area
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area
• Meet all safety requirements in the machine shop and follow all company policies
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or similar on-the-job experience of approximately four years, OR at least five years experience as a machinist
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
