About the role

Founded more than a century ago through the combined history and experience of three trusted equipment brands and based in Cleveland, Ohio, we design, manufacture, rebuild, retrofit, and install custom metal-finishing equipment for customers worldwide. Our systems include automated hoists, plating barrels, conveyorized finishing machines, industrial dryers, tanks, controls, and replacement components used throughout the automotive, aerospace, appliance, plumbing, fastener, and oilfield industries. With hundreds of successful installations, we provide complete equipment solutions tailored to each customer's production requirements.

Why join us

  • Established Manufacturing Operation: Join a Cleveland-based equipment manufacturer backed by more than 100 years of combined industry experience.
  • Custom Machining Environment: Work on varied components rather than running the same high-volume production job every day.
  • Interesting Industrial Applications: Produce components supporting plating lines, automated hoists, material-handling systems, tanks, and specialized finishing equipment.
  • Full Project Exposure: Support new equipment builds, rebuilds, retrofits, replacement parts, and field-service requirements.
  • Broad Customer Base: Contribute to equipment used throughout the automotive, aerospace, appliance, plumbing, fastener, and oilfield industries.
  • Direct Impact: Play an important role in keeping customer equipment operating and completing custom manufacturing projects on schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training in machining, CNC technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing, machine-shop, or custom-equipment environment.
  • Demonstrated experience independently setting up and operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
  • Strong blueprint-reading skills, including dimensions, tolerances, geometric callouts, and machining symbols.
  • Experience selecting tooling, establishing work offsets, touching off tools, and completing first-piece inspections.
  • Ability to adjust machine offsets and perform basic CNC program or G-code edits.
  • Experience using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
  • Proven ability to manufacture parts accurately from engineering drawings and job specifications.
  • Comfortable handling custom, one-off, and short-run machining assignments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot tooling, setup, dimensional, and machining-related issues.
  • Experience machining components for industrial machinery, custom equipment, automation, material handling, or metal-finishing systems is preferred.
  • Experience with both CNC milling and CNC turning is strongly preferred.
  • Manual machining experience is helpful but not required.
